Kids Yoga Classes & Benefits

Kids Yoga Classes & Benefits

Why yoga is beautiful for children

Improves focus and attention

It’s natural for little minds to be curious and easily distracted. Yoga gently brings them into the moment, helping them build the ability to focus on one thing at a time, a skill that stays with them even outside the mat.

Builds strength and flexibility

Along with the emotional benefits, yoga keeps their body active and engaged. They discover power in their own movement, learn balance, and enjoy exploring how their body works.

Encourages learning and imagination

Children absorb everything. Yoga gives their growing brains rich sensory input following sequences, listening to instructions, and moving with intention all of which help the brain expand and flourish.

Nurtures social and self-awareness

In a class, children begin to understand teamwork, respect for space, and connection. They learn about themselves while also building comfort and kindness in social settings.

Why starting Yoga at the young age matters?

With early exposure to yoga and mindfulness, children don’t have to later struggle to learn meditation or emotional regulation after stress has already built up. These practices slowly become a natural way of living.

In a world filled with stimulation and screens, we cannot completely eliminate influences… but we can guide children lovingly. With yoga, they learn what feels right for their mind and body, become less vulnerable to negative patterns, and develop resilience from within.

Kids Yoga Class - 45 minutes of joyful learning

Each class is 45 minutes and beautifully crafted to keep children engaged while supporting their emotional, physical, and social growth.

The session includes:

Gentle chanting to settle the mind and bring everyone together.

Asanas bringing movement and flexibility.

Fun breathing techniques - inspired by real pranayamas, practised playfully as dog breath, rabbit breath, lion breath, and more.

Yoga games

Story-based yoga flows moving along with moral stories from different cultures and folklores across the world, helping children learn values through imagination.

Every class is designed to feel safe, fun, and non-competitive, where children can express themselves freely and discover a sense of inner calm, strength, and joy.
